Since I took over the book department sales has gone up. They have gone up by 20 percent and that’s pretty good.

My old books

I work at a thrift store.
And in less then a month we are moving into a larger place closer to the city center. So we are having a big sale were every price is cut in half. So I decided to spend some money on some more books. I started to collect books when I learned to read and my collection is growing. Right now I have close to 600 books ranging from children’s books to crime. I also have a large collection of books about local history. The books I got this time was a mix of local history and biographies. All I need now is time to read them..

Why another blog?

Why not hosting and domains are cheap these days. Especially now that the dollar is really really cheap. The plan is to have at least 10 domains up and running before Christmas. Mostly I do this for fun. But I do have some serious thoughts about all of this.
Despite others beliefs…
My main focus is still going to be rmtexposed All the fans I have on the various forums like Eq2flames and allakhazam deserves the best. Without them there would be no rmtexposed.

Christmas is coming

And to be quite honest I have a hard time getting into the Christmas spirits. I am not sure why but I think it’s because everything is commercialized. We spend more and more cash on presents and food. It makes me sick to see what some people spend on things for Christmas, especially when you think what some people has to go through. Another thing is the growing mountain of garbage that we leave behind us. It’s amazing to see how indifferent some people are to all the problems this causes. I think it’s a pity that most stuff that are made today are made to last only a few years. I have a radio that still works. It’s more then 50 years old and thats the norm for those radios. I’d like to see the radios they make today last as long as that.
Make stuff that lasts longer and most of the garbage pile will disappear..

Old Books

Next week I have an appointment with another book trader that might buy some of my books. It will be interesting to see how much I can get for some of them. I have a few books that are worth at least 100 dollars each. So hopefully I might get some cash towards a new camera.
At this time I have 453 books in my collection. These books range from sex ed books to cookbooks. And I have about 20 books lying at work that I haven’t brought home yet.
